2013 OpenVSP Workshop Completed

The 2013 OpenVSP Workshop was held August 7-9 in San Luis Obispo.  Although smaller than last year, it was a great success giving opportunity for the VSP community to come together and share updates, best practices, and future plans.

For those of you who could not make it, most of the presentations are available online.  I hope to see you here next year.

  1. In my latest VSP aircraft design, my Comp-Geo showed a wing wetted area about the same as its reference wing area; what am I (or the model) doing wrong??

    • CompGeom reports separate areas for the left and right half wings, whereas the reference area probably includes both sides. Check for a second line in the CompGeom output.

If you have more trouble, post your model to the Google Group and someone will take a look.

  2. Is it possible to get a copy of the VSP “Degen Geom” code used to support the 2013 Workshop paper “Degenerate Geometry Outptut” Rob McDonald and Joel Belben?
