I have been waiting on a few\u00a0features to make a 2.3.0 release, but finally decided it was better to get\u00a0these fixes out sooner than later.<\/p>\n<p>The mesh growth limiting step of CFDMesh &#8216;Build Target Mesh&#8217; has been\u00a0totally re-written. This new version should be <strong>vastly<\/strong> faster for just\u00a0about anyone out there. The new BTM algorithm follows the surface\u00a0topology rather than doing a full spatial search. For the rare cases\u00a0where a full spatial search is still required, there is an optional flag\u00a0to enable it. Even that mode should still be much faster than before.<\/p>\n<p>Bug fixes in this release:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don&#8217;t close already closed file in readVspAirfoil (Linux crash)<\/li>\n<li>Fix MS_Wing chord update on scale<\/li>\n<li>Fix warnings on various compilers<\/li>\n<li>Update example files to silence warnings on load<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Version 2.2.2 has been a long time coming.
